What a property finder actually does

Most buyers search the way the portals want them to — filtering by postcode and price, and looking at whatever happens to be listed that week. A property finder works the other way round. You describe the house you want, and we go and find it — including the homes that are never advertised at all.

We also work alongside many of Surrey's buying agents. If you already have a buying agent representing you, we are often the source they turn to for off-market property — we introduce the right home, and your buying agent continues to represent you throughout.

Queenwood is not a national firm with a Surrey branch. We work in one county, across the prime and super-prime market from Cobham down to Haslemere and Kingswood across to Horsham.

Every property we represent is off-market. There are no open listings, no competing viewings and no public advertising. When we introduce a property to you, it is because we believe it matches your brief — and because you are among a very small number of people who will ever hear about it.

The search is founder-led, and it is also what several of Surrey's buying agents rely on us for directly — a source of off-market property their own clients would otherwise never see.

What a detailed brief makes possible

A buyer came to us wanting to upgrade from an existing country home. His brief was unusually precise: a period property, minimum five thousand square feet, at least four acres, tennis court and swimming pool essential, within a ten mile radius of a named village. Budget around six million.

Neither of the two properties we introduced him to was on the market. One, an eightbedroom house in the Surrey Hills with a tennis court, pool and four acres overlooking open countryside. The other, in a neighbouring village, where terms were agreed directly with the owner.

That is the service. A specific brief, a private search, and an introduction to a house the buyer would never otherwise have seen.
